Welcome to both WhyTheHeck and ThinkOOB.
We are two websites in one, truly the Certs of idea generation. Originally we asked people to “Think Outside [of] the Box” to come up with ideas to make the economy purr again (hence ThinkOOB). Now that we’ve attracted some great, screamingly obvious, ideas (and a lot of really lousy ones too), we are asking “Why the heck aren’t we already doing this stuff?”
We put up a prototype book on this site last year called OOBonomics, because we hated the thought of people visiting the site and having to go home empty-handed. Also, we wanted to “lay claim” to these ideas before someone else did. There are still a few copies left in stock. You can (1) order OOBonomics from us and get it signed and numbered and hope that it becomes a collector’s item someday, or you can (2) wait until the “real thing” comes out in 2011, called Why the Heck Aren’t We Already Doing This Stuff? And far be it from us to say you can’t (3) do both.
